The honest chart
The Sky
Where the planets actually were when you were born, computed here in your browser from real orbital math, and where they are tonight. Then the tradition, read plainly.
Two different things are on this page, and we keep them apart on purpose. The positions are astronomy: the same calculations an observatory would use, accurate to well under a degree, with nothing looked up and nothing sent anywhere. The meanings are astrology, a symbolic language that has been read off those positions since Babylon. We present it as a tradition to think with, the way we present a theta session: read as "commonly associated with," never "guaranteed to cause." Nothing here predicts anything.

Computing…
Your chart
You're on the list. The first note goes out with the next new or full Moon.
How this is calculated
Planet positions come from the open-source Astronomy Engine, which models the solar system to about an arcminute, far finer than the degree markings on a chart. Signs are tropical, starting at the March equinox, as in all Western astrology. Houses are whole-sign, the oldest system and the only one that needs no assumptions beyond your rising sign. Aspects use the standard orbs: eight degrees for a conjunction or opposition, seven for a trine or square, five for a sextile, a little more for the Sun and Moon, and a tight three degrees for transits.
Astrology is not a science and we do not sell it as one. It is a way of paying attention that people have found useful for a long time. If it helps you notice something true about yourself, that was you.
Sessions built for the threshold
Whatever the sky is doing, the work is the same: awake, inward, and honest about it.
